In America!

Thursday, 6 December 2007

We are having a really great time here in America. We had a great flight over and Alexander slept well for most of the 10 hour flight from Copenhagen to Seattle, and fell asleep on take off on both of our flights. What a blessing! We arrived last Tuesday evening (local time) and have been having a really nice time visiting with Lisa, and also going a little north of Seattle to see Anna, a friend and former student of ours. We've had lots of exciting adventures so far, and we'll have to get some pictures on here later. It's been fun to "experience" America, and all the wonderful unique things about it.

What! You were in Seattle? If you had just gone a bit farther north, you could have come visit me. (okay, a LOT farther north) I wish I had know, cuz Washington is much closer to Canada than Norway (or even Australia). Anyway, I hope you are having a wonderful time with your family in Australia! (much warmer than here, I'm sure) Just wanted to let you know I received your Christmas letter in the mail, and it was such a pleasant surprise! I was showing my family and friends, "Look, this was my DTS leaders, and this is their adorable baby boy." How much longer are you in Australia? I'm trying to decide if I should mail something there, or be safe and mail it to Norway. Enough of my rambling, sorry you haven't heard from me in a while - I hope you be sending out an email or letter before Christmas. (Today's actually my last day of work, so I should have some time next week to catch up on some things). Thinking of you, and praying you have a wonderful Christmas! God bless you.

  2. It was great to see you again and spend a little bit of time with you "Down Under"!
HAppy New Year to all of you! Even Mattis!!
