Happy Birthday Alexander!!

Friday, 11 April 2008

On Wednesday, Alexander turned one! Wow, times really flies! Christian has already left for Denmark, so I decided to throw a little party for Alexander and invite some friends around. Here are a couple of snaps from the happy day.

Good morning, birthday boy! Alexander holds on to the (Danish) flag as if to establish ownership, while his crazy Mum attempts to sing the Danish birthday song, followed by "Happy Birthday".Now it's time to rip open the first present.....

...books! How exciting!Looking good in the birthday outfit he got from his Danish grandparents, complete with spike!
Party guests...Tanja, Gunn Mari, Christian and Evelina (for those who know them ;))and Alexander hangs out with his two favourite girls, Elisabeth and Kristine.Time to blow out the candles (doesn't my cake look beautiful?)......before digging in. What a polite boy, using a spoon! The display I made in 5 minutes!Alexander stood on the chair by himself for the special Norwegian birthday song...very cute!He also got his own little cake, which he enjoyed sucking the icing off before he threw it away. Here he is surrounded by all the wonderful people at Eintrøa, who moments before were jumping, dancing and singing. Birthdays are great!

Hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into Alexander's birthday. Have a good one!
