Week in the Life - Saturday

Saturday, 28 April 2012

Saturday, and I'm glad this project is nearly over. I found it difficult to take pictures today. I just couldn't be bothered. I guess it didn't help that I'm tired after a late night last night, even though I got to sleep in today :)

Good morning. The children got to watch morning cartoons while eating breakfast today, as I conveniently left the table in the lounge room after last night's party.
Isabel decides to feed Lucy her yoghurt. Such a sweet sister.

What's going on in the world?
On our way out. We decided to go second hand shopping today.
No tables here, but we picked up a "new" scooter for the kids, gumboots for Isabel, a few items of clothing and a neat desk chair.
This was apparently the best place. A basket full of toys and a fishing net, so you can go fishing!
Ate lunch at Burger King before driving home.
 Lucy enjoyed the playground.
Alexander and Isabel loved the computer games. Can anyone say "ipad, please!"?
Isabel, ready to go outside and play in her "new" gumboots.
Playing with the old scooter and the "new" one. Racing, of course :)
Some afternoon relaxing while the big ones are playing and the little one is napping. Luxury!
Back inside after playing in the rain. Time for some afternoon tea and a DVD.
 Super dad, making dinner.
"Cake for Mummy!" Thank you, Isabel :)
Playing Spin-Jitzu. Ninjago is a big part of our days around here.
Dinner time challenges. Parents of toddlers (and fussy eaters!) can surely relate.
So exciting, sitting on the little reading bench all by herself.
Walking is all the rage. There's no stopping her now!
Catching up on the news, photo uploading and blogging.
Handball. Go AG KĂžbenhavn!

Only one more day to go! It has been so much fun to document our lives, but exhausting at the same time. I am determined to get it finished and printed so we can enjoy it this time. After all, what's the point of all this effort if it just sits on the hard drive?

Until tomorrow!

Hugs, Fiona

  1. Good on you for doing this for six days! Only one more to go now!!! I love the cake that Isabel made for you. It looks similar to what our three year old Angus makes for us every other day. And walking!!! How precious. Can't wait for our Jamie to walk too.

  2. You have a lot of cute pictures today! ;-) I have had that problem for today, I think I have 5 pictures... but that's life! Have a nice evening!
