Week 20, and I can't believe we're almost half way through the year! This week we celebrated Lucy's first birthday. It's amazing how quickly the last year has gone!

This week we also said goodbye to our friends Liz and Cara (sniff, sniff!). They are going home to England after a year here in Denmark. We're going to miss them! It has been so wonderful, getting to know them while they've been here.

Lucy really enjoyed her birthday, and being the centre of attention (I guess it doesn't happen that often!). She had such a nice time, both on her birthday and at her celebration the next day with family. She is such a sweetheart! Christian and the children also enjoyed a visit over the weekend from friends while I was at work. The children all played together well, and had a great time together (or so I heard!). Definitely worth repeating.

See you next time!

  3. Lovely photos and lovely layout. Are those transparent circle tags from Design Editor? I used them this week too! I see that you are in Denmark -- how cool! My 11 year old son has been doing a heritage unit in school, researching the country of Denmark because that is where my ancestors are from. Next week they are having a heritage feast and I think I'm going to make some aebleskivers. :)
