Catching Up - PL Week 11

Modern day scrapbooking!
Thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law, Marianne, who asked which day she could come over so we could get week 11 finished off...me for Project Life, while she made a mini photo book.  It worked out really well, and I also got another week (week 3) finished off! It's great to have company :)
Here is the finished double page spread of Week 11 (March 12-18). We went away that weekend for a family holiday (which is why Marianne wanted to make a mini-book of that weekend!) to Weissenhäuser Strand in northern Germany. We've been there a couple of times before, and we always enjoy it a lot :)
Left hand side is the first part of our week, just random stuff that happened. It's fun to look back only three months and see how much Lucy has changed. She was 10 months old here, and not walking yet. I used journal cards by Paislee Press (Press cards no. 7) and the ones I made on last week's pages (Week 23).
Second page is of the weekend. My favourite part of this page is the "instagram" grid on the top left (I don't have instagram. I just made my pictures fun and square because it's cool) from my day trip to Lübeck with Marianne (she's a very fun sister-in-law).
It feels great to have a couple of my weeks finished and crossed off my to-do list. The funny thing is that both weeks were almost finished. They were just missing a couple of pictures, a bit of text and some final details. It's crazy that they have been unfinished for so long. It's a good thing I made some goals, otherwise they might never have been finished!

Until next time!

Hugs, Fiona

  1. Fiona, that is so cool working side by side like that with your sister in law! I need to get into gear tonight and work on both weeks 23 and 24!

  2. Yeah, it's great! Now my other sister-in-law has gone out and bought the digital PL stuff, so we can do it together! Yay!

Hope you manage to catch up with your PL!
