Project Life - Week 29

Tuesday, 24 July 2012

Week 29 was busy, fun, relaxing, chaotic, tiring and restful. All in the one week! We went away camping, on a family camp which involves program for kids and adults. It was the first time we have been with our kids, and the second time I have ever been on something like this. It was wonderful.
We stayed in a rented caravan, which was brilliant. It rained for most of the week, so I was really thankful for rain clothes and gumboots (even I walked around in gumboots!). We stayed with three friends of ours with their families, so there was lots of time to hang out and have fun together. It was great to see our kids getting to know each other better! Alexander learnt how to ride his bike without training wheels, and he spent most of the week riding everywhere.
Isabel loved being included with the big girls, and was very proud to be a part of their team for Kongespillet, even though the boys won. All in all, a great week! We came home late Friday night and spent the weekend relaxing with a campfire and toasting marshmallows. Now that Alexander can ride his bike so well, he and Christian rode to church on Sunday (with Isabel on the back!). We've only got one adult bike, otherwise we could've ridden together!

I hope you also had a great week! I'm linking up to the mom creative, as usual.

Hugs, Fiona

  1. What a wonderful way to spend a week with your family!
I like the photos you included, especially on the left hand page.
The yellow program is just awesome!
