We gave Christian a Wii for his birthday, so there was lots of hours of fun with that! Isabel was my helper in the kitchen, and we celebrated Valentine's Day quietly at home, with a special dinner of our own after the children were in bed, followed by a game (we like games!)
We held a birthday celebration for Christian with his family (and more Wii!), and on Sunday it was Fastelavn (celebrated other places as Carnival or Mardi Gras), the day before the traditional pre-Easter fast of Lent. Alexander wanted to dress up as Batman, and Isabel kept changing her mind. First she wanted to be Spiderman, then changed her mind and wanted to be a princess. She went to church dressed as a princess, but when it was time to go knock on the neighbours' doors, she changed her mind again and wanted to be Batman like Alexander. Good thing we have fabric lying around the place! She very quickly got her own cape and mask (made from a piece of purple satin) in time for the door knocking. It was very fun!
I will be back with my regular Project Life pages next week.
