Procrastinating

Tuesday, 7 August 2012

I am sitting in my living room, procrastinating. The house is quiet, and I have time to do what I want. A rare luxury. I should probably be working on my Project Life pages. I haven't even started this weeks pages yet, and I don't want to get too far behind. Lucy is napping, and Isabel and Alexander are at preschool. Sweet Isabel, who has been desperate to start preschool, has finally turn three and is now allowed to go. Today I left her with tears streaming down her face as sobs racked her little body and she cried out, "I want to go home with you, Mummy!". Yeah, I'm feeling pretty terrible about now. Wondering how she's doing and if she's alright. My heart is heavy. And so I'm wasting the precious time I have, instead of using it on one of the many projects I have, or even on the giant pile of laundry that needs doing. But procrastinating doesn't change anything. I guess it's time to stop procrastinating and get something done.

Hugs, Fiona

    1. She did end up enjoying herself, after they went outside and she played with Alexander. Hopefully the rest of the week will go smoothly!
