Project Life - Week 32

Tuesday, 14 August 2012

Hello, week 32. I kept it pretty simple this week, just photos and words. I didn't take many photos this week, mostly because Alexander and Isabel started up at preschool, and because I worked all weekend. To keep it simple, I used Liz's kit, Meant to Be and Press Cards no 7. On her blog, Paislee Press, she had some fantastic templates to download, which I used all through my pages this week, as well as loads of simple inspiration. Lovely. Thanks, Liz!
This week was all about Isabel starting preschool. I'm hoping it will get a bit easier for her to say goodbye over time, but she is apparently happy all morning after I've left and stops crying straight away. Having worked in preschool before, I know this to be true :) I also got to visit my friend Eva, and cuddle her new baby boy, Albert. I also took a bunch of photos of him, and I'm really happy that I got to try out newborn photography. He's just so cute!
The weekend involved delicious chocolate chip cookies, and a trip to the cinema to see Madagascar 3. Isabel loved it (me too!) and we had a great time. Alexander thought it was okay, but I think he was just disappointed that it wasn't Ice Age 4 he was seeing (his preference, but Isabel doesn't like it. Shhh...Christian is going to take him this weekend!). I had to work all weekend, so Christian took the children up to see his grandmother in Aulum, about an hour north of us. They took the train and rode their bikes from the station to Oldemor's house, where they had a great time visiting, playing, and (of course) being spoiled! Alexander is now so big, he can ride his bike up to the playground on his own, and went off to play by himself. On Sunday they rode their bikes to church, and Lucy fell asleep in the bike trailer. Such a great weekend.

I am linking up to the Mom Creative, as usual, for loads on inspiration.

Hugs, Fiona

    1. Thanks! I always find it challenging, including things like that into my pages because it's digital, and often I forget about them. How do you do it?
