Weekend Sewing

Monday, 24 September 2012

This weekend I got to spend some time in my "studio" (sounds so fancy!) and do some sewing. I ended up making this sweet velour tunic for Isabel.
She loved it. It's just perfect for a growing, active 3 year old.
It was my first time making a tunic, sewing rib on the edges, and using an Ottobre pattern. I used the Amima tunic pattern from the 04/2011 magazine. Next time I think I will make the neck a little smaller, but otherwise it fits her really, really well.

Verdict? She likes it, a lot. I'm off to my sewing club tonight, pattern and material in hand, ready to take it on again. Autumn wardrobe, here we come!

Hugs, Fiona
