kcwc - days two and three

Wednesday, 10 October 2012

Alexander got his pants. They look a little orange here, but they are fire engine red. Don't worry, he picked the colour himself! This time I used a pattern, my favourite pants pattern - posebuks by Minikrea.
As the last pair I made him were already a little short, I made the next size up this time. I'm telling you, they are huge on him! Next time I will make the smaller size, and just add some length to the legs. Even so, he loved them and wanted to wear them straight away, even to bed! The fabric was, once again, stretch velour. I think I need a break from it! I don't find it so easy to sew, but it's so lovely and soft (and comfortable!).
Funny, silly boy!
No more kcwc from me this time around. We are heading away for a long weekend, so I don't have the time for more sewing. At least I've got a good jump start on that pile of fabric!

KCWC (Kids Clothes Week Challenge) is a challenge to use one hour a day sewing clothes for your kids, hosted by Elsie Marley. You are, of course, allowed to use more than one hour! See more amazing creations here. Anyone else playing along? Do share!

Hugs, Fiona
