Project Life - Week 47

Tuesday, 27 November 2012

After a few weeks' absence, I am back with some Project Life. Week 47 (last week). This week system actually works well here in Denmark, because that's how we talk to each other. "When is the Autumn holiday again? Week 41?", "No, it's in week 42!". So, after only 10 years of living in Scandinavia, I have finally worked it out and know, without even thinking, that week 29 is mid-July. Just saying. Anyway, back to Project Life. I worked out that I have some missing weeks to catch up on before 2013 rolls around, so hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some catch up during December. Because it's usually a really laid back kind of month... ;)
It was a very ordinary week for us, while heaps of people on the USA celebrated Thanksgiving, so there wasn't anything extremely interesting to include. I guess that's the point of this project, having the space to include the everyday stuff, which is awesome, really. This week I just wanted a simple look, and my Cobalt PL Kit seemed just too overwhelming. Too bright and in your face. So, I turned to my Paislee Press kit Diptych and Journal Cards for this week. Liz is the Queen of Simple. Love it. I only changed everything around a couple of times before I was satisfied with it. ;)
We spent lots of time playing inside. After a major tidy up of the Duplo and other toys, the kids found stuff they hadn't played with in ages, so there were many happy play moments. Alexander spent most of the weekend with his bestie, Isak, having a marvellous time. Love the serious look Lucy has on her face!

That's it for today. I'm linking up to the Mom Creative, as usual.

  2. I love that you were able to include so many photos of your "ordinary week" for me I find if the week is too normal I don't take any photos. I need to improve that!

    1. Thanks! Yeah, it is a fort! My husband built it up in the rafters of the house, where the ceiling goes right up to the roof line. You get up there through the wall upstairs. It's very cool ;)
