Weeks 9 and 10, the first two weeks of March. Last week I uploaded these pages to my blog, and when I looked at them I just hated them. I didn't want to post them. I didn't want to share. I said to Christian, "I just don't like them." He said, "They're done. Move on." I wish I had taken his advice. Instead, I didn't hit publish. I let them sit on the computer as they are, and didn't change them. Another week has rolled past, and I haven't even begun to work on weeks 11, 12 or 13. Which is silly, because Project Life is not a contest, even though sometimes I feel like it is, and I feel like I'm failing at it. But really, does it matter if all the photos are perfect, the colours all match and that it's got a great design layout? Isn't it just about capturing and recording the memories of our days? It sure is, and for that reason I love this project. Even when it's hard to keep at it. Anyway, here is week 9.
Products used: Template A, Seafoam Kit, September Blue Weekly Circles, Speech bubble from Miss Tiina's everyday collection, washi tape by Pugly Pixels.
A week of gorgeous spring weather, catching up with old friends and chicken pox. This was also the week of the February edition of Day in the Life (which will go into my album after this weekly spread).
Week 10 was also a week of beautiful spring weather. It snowed on Sunday, covering our world in white again, so it's quite strange to look back at these pictures and see all that grass! More chicken pox, fabric shopping, and an evening out with my dear sister in law. A great week!
Products used: Template A, Seafoam Kit, journal cards by Paislee Press from the weekender and diptych journalling cards, hello night out card by Smitha Katti, oh happy day sticker from one little bird's la belle vie kit.
The great thing about getting these pages up on the blog is that I'm encouraged and inspired to keep at it. I know we will all enjoy looking back at these days and moments together, I just have to get over my fear of getting it wrong. Putting these Project Life pages on the blog has always been a good way of keeping myself accountable, so I'd better keep at it. Hope you're sticking with your Project Life pages too. Thanks for following along in our journey with us.
