project life 2013 - week 30

Tuesday, 30 July 2013

hello, friends! i have actually completed a project life spread for the first time in 4 weeks, which i think should be celebrated, don't you? at least i have some notes scribbled into my notebook, so it should be possible to whizz through those weeks. ha ha! i have had some issues with my pl album. mostly being, i was bored with the kit, and felt like my pages were reflecting that. anyways, i played around with adding some cute embellishements to my usual pages, and i think i like it :)
this was last week. we went strawberry picking, and i had so many picures that i wanted to include, that i decided to make an insert of that trip. here is looking at the first page, and turning it over to....
...this! mmmm...strawberries! yes, we ate a lot of them. delicious! the other highlight of the week was a get together with christian's family. we had such a good time. i really like hanging out with that bunch! here are a couple of close ups of the individual pages.
i'm linking up with the mom creative. have a great week!

hugs, fiona xoxo

  5. I love this! It's such a fun way to look back over everything you have done. Do you use a special programme for this, Fiona? I really like how you detail every single day! What a fabulous way to keep your memories!

    1. Hi Sarah Louise. I use Photoshop Elements, and I buy the templates and kits from digitalprojectlife.com . I talked a bit about it last year (http://merrilds.blogspot.dk/2012/11/starting-with-project-life.html). For more information on the Project Life system, go to beckyhiggins.com

  6. Hi Fiona, your project life is so inspiring! I wish I can make something like your album too if I have good camera :)

    1. Hi Yeka! You can do this project, even without a nice camera! Almost all the photos on the left hand page were taken with my phone camera, which is not an iphone (or even a smart phone!), but is an older nokia. There are lots of inspiring Project Life albums with only iphone pictures (www.pinkronnie.com is a great example!). Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Strawberry Patch! How fun! When we lived in WA it's a big deal to pick all kinds of berries! Oh so good.
